Only missed a day

Well, I did pretty good this week on my blog..only missed a day..didn't feel well yesterday and I was just lazy.

Still have those dirty dishes though..Josh cooked last night and washed what he needed to use and some plates and silverware...today its going to be cleaned and I can promise you that...I am going to help him get started and the rest is up to him!!

We were fooling around with the camera yesterday and made some cute pictures of Kaylen..I have to share some of them with you..

She had just eaten and managed to get it on her face and also on her clothes..you should have seen the bib LOL

The Story Continues

Good Morning everyone...is it cold where you are..it's sure pretty cold here in Alabama..I actually got cold during the night and that's unusual. Miss Kaylen just woke up, I hear her in the other room cooing and talking to herself..she is the best baby..always wakes up with a smile on her face..I love it when all I have to do is walk in the room and she starts smiling when she sees me..

Well folks let me tell you the latest on the clean up the house saga LOL...Josh actually got up and went to the kitchen and poured out that nasty cold dirty dishwater..he immediately filled the dishpan again with HOT soap water, sat down and watched a TV show about Aliens..I wonder if he is actually an alien..he loves those things..anyway he washed 3 dishes...dried his hands and watched another TV show, fed Kaylen, then gave her a bath and played with her and the dishes are still there the same way this morning.

Last night as I was going to bed he said Nana, I promise the kitchen will be cleaned up and the floors mopped and everything......soooooo we will see, I will let you know what happens..I really don't know why I don't just go ahead and do them because I imagine if they ever get done I will do them..LOL

Does your family put a new roll of toilet paper on when it runs out? My friend Crops was blogging about her family and the empty toilet paper holder...I have the same problem at my house..I have this beautiful huge basket in the bathroom floor right under the toilet paper holder..and I keep it full of new rolls of paper...do you think they fill the holder ...well of course not, but get this one, I will have a roll on there and if it gets low, they take it off use it and throw it in the basket..what's up with that..is that laziness or what!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to ask one day why they take the roll of but can't put a new one on!!

Do you have a schedule on how you clean your house?  Well I ran across this one and thought I would share it with you..

Wash on Monday, Iron on Tuesday, Mend on Wednesday, Churn on Thursday, Clean on Friday, Bake on Saturday, Church on Sunday 

Thank heaven for modern inventions...I wonder how many people actually iron this day and time..and thank goodness the days of churning are gone..I have my grandmothers old churn and butter mold..the churn holds dried flowers and the mold is in my kitchen window along with her old egg poacher and tea ball...

Hello Everyone...

Well I did make it back..2 days in a row...

I told you yesterday about telling my GS off about the house cleaning...well...guess what....it didn't work..he had good intentions, he started in the kitchen by running a pan full of HOT water and suds...put dishes in to soak..and guess what else---yep they are still there---reckon the water is cool enough by now!!!!

Resolutions are WHAT ????

Good Day to you all..can't say morning because here is it almost 11 am and I am just now finding my way to blog..

Did you make any resolutions for the new year?? Well I did and one was to blog more...I have sure gotten off to a good start haven't I...two this month...ok I'm am really going to do better.  I've  had a bug this past week that zapped me and to tell the truth I haven't accomplished anything at all..picture this....a screen flashes on your TV of the aftermath of a tornado..that's the perfect way to describe what my house looks like now..I am like my friend Crops now..my oldest GS is getting on my last nerve..

I told him off this morning and I must say I used a lot of words he is sure not used to me saying...I got his attention anyway.. so we will see if he gets off his rear and gets to work..right now is taking care of Kaylen..that's one thing he always does..and I am very proud of him for it.. he just better start doing the same on the house!! LOL

Gosh where do I begin I have so much to show you..

First I have some new word art in the store..

Five Days Already!!

Wow, its hard to believe that we are on day 5 of 2009..hope all of yours have been good ones..

My year started with a bang.. I'm going to be a great grandmother again..the baby is due around August 12th.  if it's late it could be born on Gages birthday August 25th..I'm hoping for a little boy this time..but it won't matter what we get as long as its healthy.

We still have Kaylen and she is such a joy..she rolled over for the first time on December, 30th and she's like a little rollie pollie now..Josh and Kendra had her ears pierced and she looks so adorable with those tiny earrings..

Angie and the boys came down Sunday and we had a great time..we went to mothers and cooked and ate then we all took the tree down..we had an assembly line going, Josh and Chase took off the ornaments, the boys boxed them up, Angie packed the big boxes, and I got stuck with separating the lights..LOL Mother and Kendra rested. Angie took Kaylen home with her for a visit..she will be back on Wednesday and I miss her already!

I have been away from the computer for several days and haven't done a blog..I came on today to check my blog and read your comments from my last post..I found out the link that I gave you for the Quick Page on my blog of December 29th did not work right and was only a preview..PLEASE FORGIVE ME..I keep asking someone to return my mind but so far no one has done so!!!

I have re-checked, re-loaded, downloaded and checked again and the file is right now..so I wanted to leave you the corrected link and to tell you how sorry I am for the inconvenience I caused you.  Don't have a blog today but will be back on Monday for sure!! 2008---Almost Gone

Hello Everyone..

Well Christmas is over and gone for another year and 2008 is now almost over..

We had a good Christmas..I know you all were praying for us because we made it thru the festivities without too much sadness.  We had Kaylen with us and that helped a lot but my sister and her family weren't here this year and it didn't feel completely like Christmas.  I LOVE the Christmas season but I for one, am glad its over for 2008.

Angie and Dave made all the Christmas pictures and so far she has not sent them to me..when I get them I will share..it was fun having 2 little guys around who still believe...their excitement was contagious.  I'm sure they asked not less than 50 times each, when can we open presents??? LOL

Reflecting back on 2008 it was not a good year for my family..losing a daughter and a grandson in one year, my health was not good..too many trips to the hospital and rehab...personal problems in family members lives.but also some bright things for the year Angie and her family moved home, our beautiful Kaylen was born and has been such a joy..my mother turned 83 in 2008 and is still driving and living and living alone..there are good things too.

I just haven't been on line much since the holidays...we have Kaylen indefinitely now so I have been taking care of her a lot and just enjoying being with her...she changes so much everyday..is learning to roll over, and trying to crawl..learning to find her feet..and I haven't felt very good for the past few days..old age and Bertie and Arthur came back tor a Christmas visit..I've been trying to throw them out but their aren't cooperating. LOL

I have some new word art in the store today..its called Celebrate 2009...and I think it works very well with KimB's new kit Time Anew.

More of the new grungy look in a stacked word set...16 different words all pertaining to New Years Eve with Happy New Year being the Focus word in each stack. The are all on individual png files making them easy to resize and recolor. These are also done in a resolution of 300 dpi for clear and clean printing. Just what your New Years Eve pages need for that extra pop. You can find it here
