Good Morning Everyone
From the title I guess you can tell I'm still stunned today from last nights American Idol winner...I was saying Adam and then wham the winner is Chris...I was so shocked I immediately picked up the phone to call my sister and she was on the line..her and my mom voted for Chris...I didn't much care which won..I wanted Danny to win..he was my favorite of them all..although I'm sure he will get a contract too. I really enjoyed the show last night, Queen was on and Kiss, Rod Stewart, Lionel Richey, a lot of my favorites.
I didn't make it yesterday, I was babysitting Kaylen and boy what a day!! That little girl is on the ball..she's EVERYWHERE before you can say scoot...I spent a lot of time holding her and rocking her and she seemed to like it...I think she may miss her nana a little bit.. late in the afternoon I finally got her to sleep, but only a short nap and then it was more of the same..by the time Josh picked her up at 6:30 my tail was dragging the ground LOL..but I loved every minute of it...she says goggie for doggie and she called Gemma all day..they love each other.

I think they made a marketing move on american idol.They know they will make a certain amount of money on Adam so they might as well put chris as the winner so at least they can make a little off of him.I don't think Chris will make it big where-as Adam is going to be HUGE.
i was surprised too about Kris winning but he is more of an All American boy than Adam in my opinion. Adam is more of a 'rocker'! i am soo sure that many of the final 13 will get contracts, they were really good! this has to have been the BEST idol season to date!! :) Thank you for sharing all the FUN goodies info! there are soo many talented designers sharing such GREAT stuff! :) Have a SUPER day!!
My original call was Adam and Alison. She really should have done Janis - but should have done piece of my heart. That mistake cost her. I loved her duet last night... the only other choice I could have thought of for a great duet for her would have been Pat Benatar. I would have paid $$$ to see tat one. LOL.
I think what hurt Adam in the final was his hard rocker high pitch. I love a little Led Zepplin - but the screaming Rock was never quite my cup of tea. Overall I loved all the entertainment last night. Steve Martin was a fun surprise. It all was. I was sad that Rod Stewart did a solo - rather than singing with one of the artists, but who knows why some things are the way they are. There was some serious star qualities in all the final 13.
As for the QP lovely. Music is my life...
But don't ask Crops too much about it... she likes it, but isn't big on who is who. Me, I can hear a couple notes and usually tell you artist song and album ;)

I didn't watch American Idol this year, but I've noticed in the past that anyone that gets close to winning usually comes out with some good hits. Thanks for the comments on my layouts. :) And thank you for the QP it is lovely! Love the new wordart as well.

LOL- YOu and me both Jazzy. We get it live but it's usually in the early hours of the morning for me- so I spent the day NOT trying to find out and watched the finale in the evening *thinking that Adam* would of course be the winner- lol
But LOVED the show- was really awesome to watch and I don't think Adam needs the title to go FAR ;-)

Adam was my fave, and I, too was shocked! I keep telling myself, this will probably be better for him anyway. Can't wait to hear his first recording! Thank you for the QP--it's beautiful!
