ANOTHER FUNNY STORY

Good Wednesday morning everyone..hope your day is going well so far.

So far my week has gone pretty well..Josh came over with the kids and spent the day on Monday..I tell you all that Josh is going to pay for his raising with Jaxon!! That child is into EVERYTHING..you can’t take your eyes off of him…he just looks at you with that grin of his and does exactly what you just got him out of AGAIN. Kaylen is into her baby dolls now and she carries one around with her all the time….she hands it to me and says wrap her up, or she’s sleepy..when you move it a certain way it cries, sounds just like a real baby, and she hands her to me!! I have to put it up on my shoulder and pat her back so she stops. LOL

Kaylen is biting her fingernails…I did that when I was little and eventually grew out of it…the other day she wanted her shoes and socks off because she was sleepy..I caught her trying to bite her toenails…oh my..got any ideas that work on how to stop the nail biting????

Today I am going to tell you a funny story about Lori…Cathy had a little dog and it had puppies..she gave one to Lori..he was the cutest little puppy, very little and very feisty and we thought she was perfect for Lori. I got a big cardboard toilet tissue box and made her bed in it and put it in the kitchen floor.

Now Lori was about 3 then and she was bad to wake up in the middle of the night and get into things…unless she  made a lot of noise I didn’t wake up..the first night we had the puppy  I woke up and the kitchen light was on so I got up to see what Lori was into, as I went by my dresser I noticed the drawer was open

…she was standing in the middle of the kitchen floor looking very guilty…she had make up all over her hands and pj’s…I looked around and saw that my NEW container of makeup and also my cleansing cream were in the floor…I looked over in the puppy’s box and there was no puppy there…

I asked Lori over and over where the puppy was and she just stood there…and one time she glanced toward the refrigerator…I thought oh no, she didn’t…well, folks, she did. She had gotten up and got my makeup and put it on the puppy..why I will Never know, and then she tried to get it off with cleansing cream and it just made her a greasy mess…so then she tries to wash it off..and she put her in the fridge to dry her…poor little puppy was so traumatized. I had to give her a bath and try to get all that mess off of her and get her dry and warm.  I wrapped her up in a blanket and put her back in her box. 

The next morning she will still wrapped up..I took her back to my sister and knew then Lori was to young to have a puppy..That poor little dog never got over that…she was never feisty again..

I finally have some new word art in the store..I’ve got several sets in Quality Control I’m hoping will be out soon,

JUST SOME THOUGHTS

Good morning everyone…hope your day is going good so far.

I opened up my blog this morning and was surprised to see that my counter read 900,019…sure wish I had as many comments LOL, 

I went to the Dr. on Tuesday for my after hospital visit, I am happy to say her report was good.  It was so hot it just zapped me..the air in the car went out ..my uncle put Freon in it but that wasn’t the problem.

I came home and turned  the air up, got in front of the fan and went to sleep, slept for the rest of the day and into the night…yesterday I still couldn’t wake up..started making a grocery list and went to sleep again…I didn’t make it to the grocery store again..I HAVE to make it today or eat paper LOL.

I have been thinking about the kids a lot lately and some of the funny things they did when they were growing up…thought I would share one of them with you.

When Angie was little she loved to fish…we were at my parents place at the lake and she and my mother were on the pier fishing..well mother was fishing, Angie  (Who was about 3) was watching that day…. mother caught a big cat fish, it scared Angie and she backed off the pier and into the water, now my mother, being a great swimmer, started yelling for me.

My dad and I were at the trailer planting watermelons, so smart me, who was scared to death, ran to the edge of the water, ( a long way from where I was) instead of running down the pier to where they were, and started swimming out to them, in my clothes, before I  even got a few strokes in, here comes Angie, bobbing to the top of the water, she dog paddled to the pier and mother pulled her up…I asked her what she did, she said, “Mommy when I got to the bottom, I dog poddled to the top”…she thought it was so much fun. Mother and I didn’t think it was so fun!!!

My dad, who was watching from the trailer saw that she was safe, started laughing at me for jumping in with my clothes, glasses and shoes on…we went on to finish planting the watermelon seeds.  They started growing so fast that we had to dig them up and replant at the edge of the water…we had some big watermelons that year…and  ever time we cut one my dad would tell that story.

Here is a picture of the lake, my dad and I were by his truck when Angie fell in, you can see from the yard how far away from the water I was…the water and pier are even beyond where you can see..it was a long way to run LOL

WHAT a WEEKEND

Hello everyone..hope you all had a great weekend.  I did.

This is going to be a long post so get comfortable and get ready to read!

Angie and Gage came down on Saturday for Kaylen and Jaxons birthday party. Angie looks like she is going to explode any minute.  I sure don’t think she will make it until Sept.19th for Macy to make her arrival. 

On Saturday it was so hot …. on the way to the party Gage said ,“I wish it would rain” and about a minute later big drops of rain started to fall.  By the time we got to the park it was raining cats and dogs!! When it was over and we got out it was like stepping into a sauna. When we got to the pavilion I was ready to fall out LOL.

No one brought a camera so we had to send someone to get a disposable one and there was a delay starting. When they finally got back everyone was sitting on ready, the cake was melting and the kids were all soaking wet from playing in the rain..it was a good party, the kids got lots of presents, I’m glad I went.

Jaxon dove into his cake the minute they gave it to him…he was soooo funny…just look at all those curls!!! Will show you the rest when they get them developed.

JAZZY’S BELIEVE IT OR NOT

Well gang, believe it or not, I’m back again!

I have a good reason for being MIA, I was in the hospital and since I’ve been home I haven’t been spending much time on the computer.  I feel really good, am breathing so much better that I have just been taking it easy.  I have breath now to wash dishes, fix my food, wash and dry clothes and fold them up.  Although, if you could see my laundry room, you would know I haven’t been doing much of that LOL.

The home health nurse has been coming out 3 times a week and my oxygen level is staying up great now.  I was on the bipap machine for a long time, only off long enough to eat and my level dropped so fast I had to eat in a hurry…I never seem to lose my appetite anytime! 

I finally went to see the kids on Sunday night, Kaylen was in the yard playing when I pulled in the driveway, she got this great big smile on her face and started running to the car saying “it’s Nana, it’s Nana, you know how that made me feel.  Jaxon is walking all over everywhere now…he came to me and I got him in my lap and Kaylen came running back to me saying “no Jaxy, no Jaxy, LOL, I had to get both of them in my lap..I started rocking and she got down again but Jaxon went to sleep LOL…I had not seen them since the week before I went to the hospital.

Angie and Kaylen both had birthdays on July 25th. Can’t believe Kaylen is 2, wow time has passed so fast.  I can’t say how old Angie was, as she might read this and kill me LOL.  Jaxon will be 1 on August 5 so they having a party for them both on Sunday.  They both love Sponge Bob so that will be the theme of the party..here’s the cake they are having..

Gage will have a birthday August 25th.  He will be 10 and Zane was 10 in June.  Both of them played baseball and I made these layouts the other night.  I think I left my mojo at the hospital!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

Hello Everyone…if you celebrate the 4th of July, hope you have a good and fun day.  I went to the Dr. and I do have Pleurisy but thank goodness she gave me 2 shots and some meds to take at home…I don’t know what I would have done if Josh hadn’t come and stayed with me and Kendra and the kids stayed one day..I just stayed in the bed and took pain meds..I would not wish Pleurisy on my worst enemy…its terrible.
