NEW GOODIES

Hello Everyone..Hope you are having a great day so far..I haven’t been up long enough to tell how mine is going to go, but I’m very thankful I woke up and God gave me another day here on earth!!

Last time I was here I told you about my family and being Auburn fans..and showed you some pics of Josh..well I was thinking about all that and remembered I made this layout for my nephews Jake graduation scrapbook..

I bought Jake an Alabama sweat suit and Josh an Auburn one and we took them and had their picture made..Jakes dad graduated from Alabama.the first year he and Cathy were married I knew we would never be friends if we discussed football..lol and we never did!!

Believe it or not, I finally have some goodies in the store…they are a bit different and I hope you like them..I love making frames so I made some frames and word art to go with them…All you have to do is add your background paper, picture and wordart and you have you page made..

FROM RAIN TO COLD IN ONE DAY

Hello Everyone

Hope you all had a great weekend, I spend mine indoors wrapped in a blanket watching TV and sleeping..didn’t feel well and didn’t even get Kaylen or Jaxon for the weekend..You know I must not have felt good LOL

Auburn lost again this week  :( …. we have a new coach this year and a lot of changes going on…I have faith though that we will be a team to contend with next season..I still love em and enjoy the games..I missed having kaylen to watch the game with me..she picked up the word go from me and now she gets right in front of the tv and does her little arm in the air (like her Nana) and says go, go , go…its so cute…then she will run over to me and say, go go go Nana…a memory I will cherish…I had Josh watching games with me when he was 3 months old..I converted him to an Auburn fan, but I could never convert Chase or Andrew, their dads corrupted them to Bama fans… LOL

Kendra is an Alabama fan, Josh told her she could make Jaxon a Bama fan but leave Kaylen alone, her Nana, her Dad and her Meme (Lori) her Aunt Angie, and her cousin Gage are all Auburn fans! 

Here’s some pics of Josh at 3 months and 9 months..I started him out early..the top picture was the day Auburn played Syracuse in the Sugar Bowl..our coach was Pat Dye then, and in the last few seconds of the game he tied it with a field goal,( back then there was no overtime in college games) and that became the first Bowl game ever tied..Syracuse coach sent him a bunch of old ties and he became know as TIE DYE.

I guess its time to stop the football talk and get down to the eye candy business….I am so happy to see Paula back, (PK Doll)she’s been out of pocket for awhile but she is back again and still doing those beautiful layouts of her’s…and we have a new CT member, Lainey, she’s been sending me a lot of new layouts lately with my word art so I told her she needed to be on the team, she wrote back that she would love it..both Paula and Lainey have blogs so pop on over they have freebies for you so pop on over and leave them some love..

I used one of the papers from Kim’s Paper Bundle Set in her store I’m just loving these papers..seems like I’m stuck on Josh pics today, lol this was the only halloween one I could find still left on the computer..didn’t have any Bama pics on here at all..lol

I’m running so late blogging today..I am leaving you all now, I’m going to see my babies..its been a week since I’ve seen them and I am about to go into withdrawals LOL

AND A WET RAINY GLOOMY FRIDAY TOO

Good morning everyone…it’s been raining here off and on (Mostly on) all week.  It’s really made the leaves fall off..my sidewalk is full of leaves..

I haven’t really done anything or accomplished anything  this week…but it’s really flown by.  I have been in the house all week..too rainy and bad to get out..I take a cold at the drop of a hat, and then it turns into bronchitis and then pneumonia if I’m not careful..

Today is my oldest GS Josh’s 22 birthday..gosh I remember the day he was born like yesterday..we went to the hospital at 3 am..I really didn’t think it was time to go but rather than listen to Lori, we went..she was in labor but not dilated much but they kept her anyway..now Lori had a very low pain threshold and you would have thought those 1st few pains were killing her..the Dr. came in and said she had a while to go but he gave her something for pain..I would try to go out for a break..but I would no sooner get out the door and part way down the hall I would hear this SCREAM..very loud at that…MOOOOTHER…so back I would go..

This went on all day, the Dr came in and said he thought he should do a c section..he gave her more pain medicine and said he would be back at 2..by this time I am worn out and sleepy and wishing I had some of that pain medicine to knock me out..(Just kidding) I did feel the pain of my almost broken hand…from Lori squeezing it…

2 o’clock rolled around and no Dr..he had an emergency C-section…finally at about 3 he came in and asked Lori if she was ready to have that baby..she was so groggy from the meds she didn’t care one way or the other at that point in time but I sure was ready!!  I was in the delivery room with her, sitting at her head, and when they held Josh up for us to see, I had the most wonderful feeling, it just took my breath away..I fell in love then and there…and its been that way for 22 years…no matter how many GC you have there is always something special about that 1st one that never goes away…I’m sure a lot of you know what I mean..

It’s also Bunny’s birthday today so stop by her blog and wish her a happy birthday.

Wet Gloomy Monday

Hello Everyone

Well, it’s a wet, gloomy, rainy, day in Gadsden. One of those days that makes you just want to curt up and go back to sleep!!  Hope you all had a great weekend.  I had a tiring one…Kaylen, Chase and Jessie all spent the weekend with me…Chase and Jessie seemed to see who could eat the most..my groceries went down down down…my goodness you would think they never had any food except at my house…lol

Kaylen was good as always, just scattered her toys all over the place and she wants them all out at one time…no matter how many times I put them in the toy basket, she goes and get them back out…I finally just gave up and let them alone until she left.   I am going to keep Jaxon next weekend for the first time..can’t wait for that. 

I’m working on some new fall wordart and a few surprises for you but I do have Fall Splendor in my store and also several Halloween sets.
