Hey Look-It's Tuesday

Before I got sick I was blogging about 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday..thought since I had been away I would try to do more this week...I'm not promising tomorrow though LOL..

I think I told you before that we have Kaylen now..have since the day after Christmas..Josh called the Dept of Human Resources and they told him that since her Mother gave her to him he doesn't have to give her back to her if she decides she ever wants her back.

  She is such a joy to us all..she is growing so much and is learning so much, she can roll over and is almost crawling, she can sit a little, she has her favorite toys and she laughs out loud almost all the time. She has also begun to say a few words, she says dada all the time, when he goes out of the room she will call him, and sometimes cries after him, when she sees him she says dada..when she sees Kendra she calls her keykey, and when she gets upset, mad, hungry, or distressed she calls her Nana...and she says NANA too LOL..we all try to get her to say it other times but she just smiles big ole smiles and jumps toward me but she won't say nana.

Kendra and Josh have found a house and will be moving this week or next..I don't how I will make it without seeing Kaylen everyday..but they need to be on their own and my little apartment is bursting at the seams.

I hope all of you ,who are able, have contributed to the Spirit of Summer charity and have received your awesome kit.  Now on to some eye candy.

PK Doll made this beautiful page for my color op challenge  I love how she altered her photo and the word art from Girl Power all over this page. Awesome Paula.

It's Been A Long Long Time

Hello my friends...it sure feels good to be back here with you.

First I want to thank you all for your prayers and thoughts and well wishes..thanks to them my Mother has made a miraculous recovery her doctors are even surprised at.  We think she will be leaving the hospital this week and going to a rehab facility.  I am feeling better too..I still feel tired a lot but that's getting better now..

I am so BEHIND on all my gallery and forum postings..and mailing out my posting bonus for my Photo Op Challenge. If you will be patient for a little longer I will have them to you soon. I have so much to tell you about today and some out of this world eye candy so get comfortable!!!

Just a note first to tell you I have a new CT team member..Her nick is purepixels.. she is also from Alabama and has a 3 year old daughter. Her husband is currently serving in Iraq. She does some beautiful layouts.  Please make her feel welcome.

Jazzy sick

Hi everyone, this is Kim.

Jazzy sent me a mail this morning and asked me to let everyone know that she and her mother are not well at the moment.

Angie came down friday and made me go to my mothers with her..she got us both in the same place and called 2 ambulances..
They sent me home with 2 pres and 4 breathing treatments a day

but mother is very very bad..she is in ccu unit on a bi pap machine and not doing good at all.. Im sick and my mother is very sick , please pray that we both get well soon*

Lets all say a little prayer tonight for their speedy recovery.
Loves ya Jazzy and get better soon- we'll be here waiting for you.

January 2009-almost gone

Good Morning Folks

Time is sure flying by fast isn't it??? Have you accomplised any of your resolutions you made, or are you still working on them?  Well, I usually don't make any of those things because I know I won't do them?? However I did tell you I would try to Blog more and I think I've gotten a bit better about that..

Have any of you been hit by the terrible winter storms that have been wrecking havoc across the country? Last we heard Bunny and her family were iced in with no power or phone. I'm asking that you all say a special prayer for her and her family and for the others that are in this same situation.

Thursday Surprise - CT CALL

Hi There Everyone.

This is not  regular Blog post but rather a CT Call post

I have the most wonderful CT out there..you all know how talented they are by the eye candy I show you.  They do layouts that make my word art shine.  I AM NOT REPLACING ANY OF THEM..we discussed this together and have decided to add a few new CT members.

The requirements are simple..do at least 2 pages with each new word art set (more if possible) post the pages to the DSO Gallery for Words to Delite and post to at least 1 (Hopefully more) other gallery. If you are already posting to several galleries that would be great.

When you complete your pages send to me via email along with the galleries you posted to.  In return you get all my  word art sets for free.

Monday Again

Good Morning Everyone..

Well here we are Monday Morning and starting a new week.  Hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was nice Angie and Gage came down yesteray, Dave wasn't feeling good and Zane doesn't like the long drive so he stayed home with his Dad.  Mother cooked lunch for us and it was soooo good, I ate till I was almost sick..she had meat loaf, green beans, home made cheese and macaroni, corn and iced tea and lemon pie for dessert.

Oh and another good thing happened....Josh and Kendra got busy cleaning up the house..lol they knew Angie would let them have it if it was messed up..they swept and mopped, washed dishes, put things away...they were like little bees buzzing around. 

To start off the week..I have more new word art in the store today.  Its called Girl Power here's a little preview

Girl Power is all about Girls..young and old. These fun funky grungy phrases will add pop to any of your layouts about those special girls. There are 20 individual png files each with the Word Girl or Girls as the Main word. All can be re-colored and re-sized and are done in 300 dpi for better print quality.

I have gotten a lot of good feed back from this set..Funky Love Lines is a little different from most word art.
